A Baby for Elton and David

Elton John and David Furnish have been successful in their adoption of a baby boy born on Christmas day. A boy, named Achary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born weighing 7 pounds 15 ounces.

They stated they were: “We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment,” and. “Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents.”

Elton John and David Furnish were married in 2005 after living together as a couple for 12 years. This is the couple’s first child. Congratulations are in order. It’s a happy day for them. Now comes the night feedings, diaper changes and adolescence and all that crap. Good luck to them both. As my sister always said, “Motherhood is highly overrated.”

George Clooney is The American

Another CD to add to your collection if you love George Clooney like I do. One of his recent films, The American, is now available in DVD.

The American, filmed in Abruzzo, Italy, and directed by Anton Corbijn is the story of a man who works as an assassin and is experiencing an existential crisis. He is looking for meaning. The scenery is beautiful, as Italy always is, George Clooney is beautiful and elegant as he is and so is his love interest in the film.

The DVD is now available so you can extend your hours of viewing George Clooney and wonder why more men are not like him. Not only is he gorgeous, but he’s helping the world wake up about the crisis in the Sudan. Oh well… Sigh.

Lindsay Lohan – the Train Wreck

Lindsay Lohan the Trainwreck, now the film

Well, you can’t deny it, her life is a train wreck, but now she’s trying to “figure it out,” and sort things out. What do you know, someone dares to go and make a movie about her life and now she’s pissed. All that wealth, those looks, that talent that’s fading and all that money and she’s still fucked up. She’s been struggling to get her junk sorted out, and now Lindsay Lohan is having to deal with a new film that’s being made about her train wreck of a life.

The upcoming movie “Dogs in Pocketbooks” stars Lydia Hearst and is based on “a spoiled brat prone to alcohol and cocaine binges, reckless driving, failed rehab attempts, career-ending partying, and ruthless hangers-on,” according to a report.

And the Lohan family lawyer feels like they have a strong case against the film’s producers. Stephanie Ovadia told press, “They are again using her likeness without her being compensated.”

Never one to keep her mouth shut, Dina Lohan threatened, “Anyone bringing negativity will be dealt with accordingly.”
